This session will be for students who have NEVER used the Cricut before or have very limited knowledge of the Cricut. We will explore the basic functionality of Cricuting and design strategies.
Zumba is a fitness class that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. This Zumba session will incorporate interval and resistance training, , cardio, dance, and fun! Please dress accordingly and wear sneakers.
Henna tattooing is a relaxing way to create fun designs. Henna also has many benefits for the skin, including detoxifying qualities. Designing tattoos can also help relax the mind, connect with your artistic side, and encourage abstract ideas. In this session, students will learn the history behind henna, why they use it, and how to design a henna tattoo. Students will even be able to apply that tattoo to themselves or have another student apply it.
Students will be looking at a kerotype to determine what type of genetic disorder they are looking at and a Kahoot! about genetic disorders. They will learn what a genetic disorder is, what happens when one gene is affected by a genetic disorder and at the end they will learn when multiple genes are affected by a genetic disorder
In this session, students will walk across the street to BVT where they will learn how to change a tire and other basic car maintenance. BVT students in the Auto Tech shop will spend time teaching students these important skills. Please meet in room 310.
Pottery is one of the oldest human inventions. Creating vessels on the pottery wheel is a skill that takes time and practice to master. In this session, students will have hands-on opportunity to work on a pottery wheel with focused instruction. Students will learn the techniques of centering clay, shaping, and pulling walls in order to create basic bowls, vases, mugs, etc. This session has limited space.

Larry Sasso has three passions in life: teaching, working with young adults, and helping clients become financially independent. He has now turned his passions into "Get in the Game," a guide to personal finances and life for young adults.
