Pottery is one of the oldest human inventions. Creating vessels on the pottery wheel is a skill that takes time and practice to master. In this session, students will have hands-on opportunity to work on a pottery wheel with focused instruction. Students will learn the techniques of centering clay, shaping, and pulling walls in order to create basic bowls, vases, mugs, etc. This session has limited space.

Kevin is veteran public school teacher with a demonstrated history of teaching multi-modal classes. He is also the supervisor/mentor of the Camper Discipleship Program at Camp Berea for students aged 14-17 which focuses on leadership training and character development.
